A quadcopter, also called a quadrotor helicopter or quadrotor, is a multirotor helicopter that is lifted and propelled by four rotors. Quadcopters are classified as rotorcraft, as opposed to fixed-wing aircraft, because their lift is generated by a set of rotors (vertically oriented propellers).
Quadcopters generally use two pairs of identical fixed pitched propellers; two clockwise (CW) and two counterclockwise (CCW). These use independent variation of the speed of each rotor to achieve control. By changing the speed of each rotor it is possible to specifically generate a desired total thrust; to locate for the centre of thrust both laterally and longitudinally; and to create a desired total torque, or turning force.
DJI Flamewheel F450 Quadcopter Frame Arms
The Frame Arms are made of an ultra-strength material to provide better crash-worthiness. They make the frame design optimized to provided abundant assemble space for autopilot systems. The diagonal length from motor to motor is 450 mm. A total of four arms are present.
F450 PCB Quadcopter Main Frame Board Centre Plate
The plate is made up of a Glass Fiber Material and Electric Compatible Fuel Type. It comprises of an upper and lower side plate in a Printed Circuit Board architecture. The battery and electronic speed controller terminals are soldered onto this plate.
The 1045 Propellers have a Diameter of 10-inches i.es 25.4cm and a Pitch of 4.5-inches. The Centre bore diameter is 6mm for the front and 9mm for the reverse side. The weight is about 14g/pair. There are a pair of clockwise propellers and a pair of counterclockwise propellers.

Propeller Guard Tool
They Propeller Guard Tool is very light weight and can effectively protect up to 10-inch propellers. They have a Quick Snap On/Off mechanism. The guards prevent the breaking your propellers when you crash your quadcopter by accidently bumping into trees, walls, or any other obstacles. Four guards are used, one for each propeller.
A2212 1000kV Brushless Outrunner Motor
The power rating is 1000kV and has a maximum efficiency of 80%. The maximum efficient current ranges from 4-10 A which is greater than 75%. The current capacity is 12A/60s. The No-Load Current at 10V is 0.5A. The motor has a diameter of 27.5mm and height of 30mm. The shaft diameter is 3.17mm. The weight is 47g per motor. Four outruner motors are used in the quadcopter.
Electronic Speed Controllers (ESC)
The Electronic Speed Controllers are optimized for best performance, low-voltage protection, over-heat protection and self-check functions. They separate the power supply for the Micro-Controller Unit (MCU) and Battery Eliminating Circuit (BEC), enhancing the ESC’s ability of eliminating magnetic interference. The Throttle range can be set to be compatible with different receivers. They are equipped with a built-in BEC. The dimensions are 73mmx28mmx12mm. The weight is 41g. The continuous output current is 40A and the burst output current is 50A. The BEC Output is 3A and 5V. Four ESCs are used, i.e. one for each Outrunner motor.
WFLY WFT07: 2.4GHz Transmitter
The transmitter frequency band is 2.4GHz Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) with Frequency Hopping to give high interference immunity. The output power is less than or equal to 100mW. The current drain is less than or equal to 190mA.The power range is from 3.7V – 6V. WFLY WFR07S: 2.4GHz Receiver
The receiver works in the frequency range of 2.400GHz – 2.483GHz (varies with different country and region). The Sensitivity of the receiver is -97dBm. It has a Fail Safe and Quick Recover Signal. The modulation scheme is Pulse Position Modulation. The power ranges from 4.8-6V. The dimensions are 40.42mm×27.27mm×11.88mm. The weight is 9.6g. The range test in the ground is more than 800m.
DJI Naza V2 Flight Controller
The flight control has an attitude stabilization algorithm that provides better flight performance and smooth control, maneuverability, better flight experience and easy take-off. The support for Octo‐rotor is available. With one‐motor stopped in Hexa and Octo rotors, the aircraft can still land safely. There is automatic course deviation compensation that reduces the effects of magnetic disturbance interference around the compass detection & warning. The Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) advanced calibration, error identification and warning, reduces the impact of sensor error to the flight performance.
DJI V2 Naza LED Module
The Light Emitting Diode (LED) module is a flight mode and satellite status indicator which also provides a visual aid for LiPo pack voltage when flying your multirotor. It incorporates USB connectivity which makes updating the firmware on the V2 module a simple task and is compatible with the Naza Lite system. The dimensions are 25mm x 25mm x 8mm. It’s weight 12g.
DJI Naza V2 GPS/Compass
The Global Positioning System (GPS) provides accurate position hold, return-to-home and intelligent orientation control (IOC) functionalities. The Compass is used to identify the direction the craft is flying in. With the GPS / Compass Module, the multi-rotor will have position and altitude locked accurately even in windy conditions. Hovering accuracy is approximately 2.5m horizontal and 0.8m vertical. It has a diameter of 45mm and height of 10mm.The weight is 27g.
Lithium-ion Polymer Battery
A lithium polymer battery, or more correctly lithium-ion polymer battery (abbreviated as LiPo, LIP, Li-poly, lithium-poly and others), is a rechargeable battery of lithium-ion technology using a polymer electrolyte instead of a liquid electrolyte. High conductivity semisolid (gel) polymers form this electrolyte. These batteries provide higher specific energy than other lithium battery types and are used in applications where weight is a critical feature, like tablet computers, cellular telephone handsets and radio-controlled aircraft. The battery capacity is 11.1V, 5500mAh, 35C. The dimensions are 26mm46mm153mm. The weight is 440g.
IMAX B6 Balance Battery Charger
The Charger is Microprocessor controlled with Delta-peak sensitivity. It offers individual cell balancing and is capable of charging Li-ion, LiPo and LiFe, Ni-Cd and NiMH cells.
